Pick Your Color of the Year- 2012!

31 December 2011 60 Comments

It’s here! It’s time! Pick your color of the year for 2012, and tell me, and I’ll give you some intuitive insight as to what your year holds for you, and how to make the most of it!

My Color is :

A turquoise with a touch of green, a year of speaking clearly from my heart!

Pick Your Color, Get Some Intuitive Clarity from Me!

Here’s How:

1. Use my little intuitive process to identify your color for the year 2012.

2. Donate $5 to the charity of your choice.

3. Post a picture or a description of the color (or tell me the pantone #) in the comments of this post. Also, say “I donated $5″, and if you want, share a link and the name of the organization you donated to. (Please consider donating to my Charity:Water campaign).

4. I’ll intuit the meaning of your color, telling you what 2012 has in store for you and also how to make the most of it!

This is limited to the first 50 people!

Share Your Color, Win a Necklace

Anam Cara Necklace from Shop at the Bridge

If you share your color, you have two opportunities to win some gorgeousness!

If you blog, instagram, or pinterest about your color and this project, linking back to my site, your name goes into a hat.

Two people win one of our beautiful, healing Shop at the Bridge Necklaces. The Anam Cara Necklace is just an example. Our winners will receive necklaces that include their color of the year, as well as healing stones to support their 2012 journeys .

This contest ends on January 10th!

What’s your Color for 2012?

Here’s the Intuitive Process for Picking Your Color.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Take another deep breath.

On your next deep, but comfortable breath, count how long your inhale lasts.

Make your exhale the same length.

This is not a contest for who has the biggest breath. Just observe and count, don’t try to change it.

Do this breathing until you feel your body relax and your mind calm.

Then say my color for 2012 is…

And watch your color come forward in your mind’s eye.

This is the most accurate color for your year.

If you don’t get a color, try again. Or, you can also try this interesting test from ColourLovers: Color of the Year .

Don’t be nervous or worried about it. Don’t color your world with worry, honey.

Remember

When you post your color comment, please write I donated my $5. If you want to say who you donated to, and include a link to your charity of choice, that’s cool too!

The comment section will close after 50 entries. They will go fast. And then, on January 1st, I’ll start answering your colors!

Hey I'm really happy that you are back visiting my blog again. And I would love the opportunity to work with you to change your life. Click here to learn more about how I help people.

    Hi Bridget!

As a person who loves blues and purples, I was a bit surprised by the color that came up for me this time. It’s a pinkish red color that I’m calling Deep Deep Blush, and I think it going to go well with my word for 2012, Sovereignty. I posted a swatch of the color on Instagram: http://instagr.am/p/cbSiT/

I donated $10 to the Charity: Water link you listed.

I’m really looking forward to what’s coming in 2012. Some of those things have already started.

Thanks so much for doing this Bridget! I had fun doing it on my own last year, but more fun to share and see what you have to say about it this year!

    I donated my $5 to your Charity:Water drive :) .

The color that floated up was a very dark, very intense purple. I couldn’t find a pantone that seemed quite right, so a photoshopped it and put it up on pinterest: http://pinterest.com/pin/5418462021397148/

Happy New Year and Best Wishes and Thank You!

According to my meditation, as well as exploration on Pantone’s site and the Colour Lover test, my color for 2012 is Pantone 192C – a raspberry shade with orange and purple undertones.

It’s funny that your color is Tiffany Blue in nature – that’s been my color for the last half of 2011, and I think it will still be an instrumental color for me in 2012. :)

BTW, my $5 donation is going to The Pet Project Midwest. They run IowaPetAlert.com, which has helped during the search for my missing dog, and they also provide pet food to people who have fallen in hard times and are having troubles taking care of their pets. They hope to ensure they can keep their pets and not have any more go to shelters.

Ironically, I went to the Pantone website to see if I could find the color number for you, and the 2012 color of the year is “tangerine tango” – a rich orange/red color. Hmm!

“As a reflection of the times, Blue Iris brings together the dependable aspect of blue, underscored by a strong, soul-searching purple cast. Emotionally, it is anchoring and meditative with a touch of magic.”
